Rest, Our Saving Grace

I love this beautiful counsel. A very simple word yet as I spend the quiet and still hours of the day brought peace and contentment into my life.

What matters most in my life now all came to me during those times. The subtle way of such sweet spirit taught me and continues to open to me far greater knowledge and blessings I can ever comprehend. I since consider those moments to be a very special gift I hold and keep with so much importance and meaning not only to me but most especially for all that is dear to me. It truly has its power to lift, heal, and strengthen us in many of its wondrous ways. I am only just beginning to unfold what they truly are.

I am learning to always keep them in mind. In every way, I truly believe they stand as a strong fortress and a sanctuary for us. I find what resorts me most when looking for them is through doing simple acts of love. It is amazing how it restores us and refreshes our minds, hearts, and spirit by doing so.

They are the kind of ways I was also shown of the outpouring of His grace through these small and simple things. Life is so generous and kind. It is all I know. And as we give him of our time, we can see hands reaching out, goodness around, and added strength and power in all of what we do. It brings me with so much comfort in those words we can trust in because they really do.

Its nurturing power continues to enrich my life in so many wonderful ways. I am sure each of us are also discovering what these gifts are for ourselves, too. I hope I can find the words to describe those joyous, special, and peaceful feelings I have, but it is also I hope to share it with you. I am truly just humbled by the promises within it and in each of those moments it carried me through it all. I have since thought what remarkable gifts they are to be discovered day by day. How much of a word can truly describe them than its lasting and its sanctifying blessings we could ever feel in in our lives. I find it to be a continuous effort, even the subtle call of the quiet and still voice to slow down and to be still.

It is truly a faith in action. I am in deep awe of its saving power to enable and to sustain us. Distilling in us its eternal truth, love, and restoring the everlasting knowledge that He knows us and who advocates so much of our welfare and joy. It is a life I know He hopes to give to every one of you, and that we can only find through the light and the life of our beautiful Savior, Jesus Christ, who continues to illuminate and clear the paths before us. His is the abiding love that touches hearts, eyes, and minds that helps us to see, feel, and hear Him more and more often.

I have felt it in my own life how ennobling the work and wonder He can make for in our lives, in our relationships, and refine and shape us not only as a person but even more so in our discipleship , as we give Him of our time and find rest in Him.
